This summer she further progressed and ran 11.35 to equal Linda Haglund\u2019s 38 year old Swedish junior 100m record.&nbsp;And this is the distance she has chosen to run at Stockholm Stadium on 22 August.<br \/><em>\u2013 After focusing on the World Youth Championships this season, I\u2019m looking forward to facing the world\u2019s top sprinters at Sweden\u2019s premier athletics event, DN Galan,<\/em> an excited Irene said.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/><strong>Close to Haglund\u2019s 200m record <\/strong><br \/>At the World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, in mid July, Irene finished fifth in the 100m and followed up with gold in the 200m. Her time of 22.92 was just one tenth of a second from Linda Haglund\u2019s 34 year old Swedish senior record.
