Jubilee
<\/b>In 2019 the Diamond League is celebrating its 10 year jubilee. To commemorate this BAUHAUS-galan has arranged a 10 year’s jubilee 10,000m race which will start at 10 o’clock.
We also have a mixed shot put event on the programme. This will take place outside of the Stadium, at the brand new Royal School of Music, opposite, at 16:30 before the Diamond League competition starts.
Cooperation with BAUHAUS<\/b>
We are grateful to our title sponsor, BAUHAUS, for enabling us to present such a strong start field at the Stadium. In addition, they play a large role in social projects, including an annual partnership with the children’s cancer charity, Barncancerfonden – a project which has raised over Euro 1.5 million.<\/p>\n
Family festival<\/b>
Our family festival is a popular part of BAUHAUS-galan. Last year 4000 people came to try out athletics and listen to music. This year the family festival has moved inside the grounds of the Stadium and we expect even more participation.<\/p>\n
Tickets
<\/b>We’re experiencing an increasing upswing in ticket sales. There are 12,500 seats available for tomorrow’s event and as it stands now, over 10,000 have been sold. <\/p>\n
World record<\/b>
Stockholm Olympic Stadium holds the world record for world records – 83 up to now. We’re looking forward to a historical evening when new records may be broken. We remember last year’s long jump which almost landed outside of the pit. We’ve now extended the long jump pit by 50 cm, so the Stadium is now prepared for the world record. And sitting in the stands is none other than the current world record holder, Mike Powell.<\/p>\n
Swedish athletics<\/b>
Athletics in Sweden is flourishing and we are proud to be able to offer both our young and our established athletes the possibility of competing against the world’s elite on their home ground. <\/p>\n

Future
<\/b>"At the end of this season, IAAF and Diamond League will decide which meetings will be part of the Diamond League 2020-2024. We are proud to have been part of the series for the past 10 years.
