Julien won almost everything in 2024<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

First, she triumphed in the 60 meters with a time of 6.98. Then, she claimed victory in the 100 meters in Paris with a blazing 10.72. Finally, she wrapped up the season with a win in the Diamond League final in Brussels, clocking 10.88. Additionally, she secured silver in the 200 meters in Paris. She ended 2024 with the world\u2019s best time in the 60 meters and was just one hundredth of a second behind She’Carri Richardson in the 100 meters. Unsurprisingly, she tops the world rankings.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The sprinting queen comes to Scandinavia<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The female sprint champion of the 2024 season is doubling up in Scandinavia this summer. First, she will race the 100 meters at the Oslo Bislett Games on June 12 before taking the eco-friendly train journey to the ABBA-land and the Capital of Scandinavia, Stockholm, to run the same distance three days later.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– It\u2019s fantastic that we can collaborate to secure the biggest female sprinting profile, says meet director Steinar Hoen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– We\u2019ve been clear that holding the two Scandinavian Diamond League meets three days apart provides significant environmental benefits in terms of travel. Now we\u2019re also gaining a major sporting benefit,\u201d Hoen adds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Scandinavian first out<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Julian Alfred\u2019s first announcement of her outdoor competitions was made for the Scandinavian meetings.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– The upcoming Diamond League- season is very important because I won\u2019t be having any trials for the World Championships. So, I hope these races put me closer to my goals for Japan, Alfred says.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

– We are happy to welcome the 100 meters champion to our town and we are glad that she has chosen to compete in the Wanda Diamond League series. We have an old stadium record of 10.90 from 1994 that we look forward to be broken, the Stockholm meet director Jan Kowalski says. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
