She ran a brilliant bend to establish a near five metre lead, and she maintained her form to the finish to clock a 22.41 (=2.2m\/s). Spain\u2019s Ja\u00ebl Bestu\u00e9 was second in 22.69, ahead of former European 100m champion Gina Gina L\u00fcckenkemper of Germany, who was third in 22.76.  <\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cMy finish could have been stronger, it was a little shaky but it&#8217;s to be expected with the travelling to get here and with not having my coach here with me,\u201d said the American victor.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cBut I ran strong, so I&#8217;ll go back and watch the race to see what I need to re-evaluate. This is my first season on the pro circuit &#8211; it&#8217;s a big transition from collegiate track but I&#8217;m so grateful for the opportunities I&#8217;m given. <\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cMy goals for the summer are to stay healthy and consistent, I&#8217;ve already qualified for the World Championships in Tokyo so I&#8217;m very excited for that of course.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>In the men\u2019s 200m, Cuba\u2019s Reynier Mena dominated the field, sprinting clear to a season\u2019s best 20.05 (+2.0m\/s).
