Almgren, who most recently set a European record, will compete in the 1500 meters \u2013 a race that is expected to be absolutely world class and will be a unique chance for the audience to see him compete on home turf.  <\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 I am very happy to run the 1500 meters at BAUHAUS-galan! It will be an important part of the<br\/>build-up to the European Championships and it will be fun to once again test yourself against the world elite at Stockholm Olympic Stadium. It will be an awesome race that you don&#8217;t want to miss, says Andreas Almgren.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>A world star back where it all began<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>For the organizer, Almgren&#8217;s start is both a crowd boost and a symbol of the strength of Swedish athletics right now.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 Andreas doesn\u2019t compete often in Sweden, so this is truly a unique chance for the audience to see him live at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
