The world leading long jumper is coming back

Six sprinters under 10 seconds and many more top athletes are coming to BAUHAUS-galan.

The cuban world leading athlete Juan Miguel Echevarría is back at Stockholm Stadion the 4th of July. During BAUHAUS-galan 2018 he jumped spectacular 8.83 with a little too much wind (+2.1) and literally landed in the other end of the sand pit. After that long jump the Stockholms Stadion had to extend the sand pit to be ready for a future 9 meters jump.

Echevarría will compete with the swedish Olympic longjumper Thobias Montler, who won BAUHAUS-galan last year, and Tajay Gayle from Jamaica who is second on the world leading list at the moment.

We can expect a fast race in the mens 100m with Ronnie Baker, the second fastest man in the US Olympic trials (9.85), and the two other americans Isiah Young and Marvin Bracy who also have made it under 10 seconds in the 100m.

In 400m BAUHAUS-galan will have the Olympic champion from 2012, Kirani James, who will challenge Isac Makwala, Vernon Norwood and Wilbert London.

The much merited Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich will attend at the 800m and be hunted by swedish Andreas Kramer.
