Sub-media center

The sub-media center is located at the official meeting hotel, Scandic Continental, Vasagatan 22, Stockholm.

Main-media center

The main-media center is located at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.

Picking up Accreditation Cards

Accreditation cards must be picked up in person, photo ID is required. The cards can be collected at the sub-media center, at the service desk already from Friday and at the media entrance at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium Sunday June 15th 14.00 – 18.30.

Press conference

An international press conference will be held at the official meeting hotel Scandic Continental floor 3 the day before the meeting, Saturday June 14th at 12.00.* Further information regarding schedule will be available to all accredited media closer to the press conference.

In addition a national press conference to meet the Swedish athletes will be held at the official meeting hotel Scandic Continental floor 3** on Friday June 13th at 15.00*. Information regarding participating athletes will be sent to the media.

Media hotel

The official hotel for BAUHAUS-galan is Scandic Continental, where you will also find the sub-media center/workroom. Media persons must book their own accommodation by contacting the hotel directly via www.scandichotels.se. Rooms at the hotel are limited, remember to book in time!

If full, we recommend other Scandic hotels in Stockholm, such as Scandic Grand Central which is located close to the official hotel.

Public Transport

To Scandic Continental
Scandic Continental is located directly in front of the Stockholm Central Station, just a short walk from the Arlanda Express track. Take the main exit and cross the street. From Arlanda Express follow the signs towards “Track 10”, when you are in the main hall exit on the opposite side as “track 10”, find a map on google by click here. The media center will be located at the second floor, the conference floor.

To the Stockholm Olympic Stadium
Station at the Olympic Stadium: STADION. Red metro no. 14 to Mörby Centrum stops at the station STADION. The journey takes around 4 minutes from The Central Station (T-Centralen). Find your way to travel with public transport from T-centralen by click here.

Taxi

Stockholm has a great public transportation and as we try to lower our impact on the environment we ask you to travel by public transportation. If this would not be possible, we recommend you to choose an electric alternative from one of the larger taxi companies in Stockholm:

Radio/TV Rights

Live TV and Radio broadcasting are only allowed for right holders. If any questions or requests for non-right holders, contact press@stadionklubbarna.com.

Host broadcaster

Sveriges Television, SVT, is host broadcaster and rights holder for Sweden. Live pictures must be obtained from the national rights holder.
