World leader and world record holder added to the 110m hurdles at Stockholm BAUHAUS Athletics

Stockholm BAUHAUS Athletics has already announced the participation of USA’s World Champion, David Oliver in the 110m hurdles at Stockholm’s Olympic Stadium. Now they can reveal an outstanding field, which includes the current world leader in the event, Orlando Ortega (CUB), world record holder, Aries Merritt (USA) and the two best in Europe, Pascal Martinot-Lagarde (FRA) and Sergei Shubenkov (RUS).

– It is fantastic that the BAUHAUS-galan can assemble a 110m hurdles start field, which could almost be the World Championships final in Beijing.  I hope the public enjoy this chance to experience such a world-class race, says meeting director Anders Tallgren.

The 110m hurdles will certainly be an interesting Diamond Race event and expectations will be high when the competitors go to their blocks in the Olympic Stadium on 30 July.
