On 6 June 2027, it’s time once again. Tickets for next year’s BAUHAUS-galan at Stockholm Olympic Stadium are now on sale – and following the success of this year’s event, expectations are high.
Right now, the athletics world is turning its attention to Birmingham, where Europe’s best athletes are competing for European Championship medals. The championships take place from 10–16 August, once again showcasing the incredible depth and world-class talent of European athletics.
But it’s already time to start looking ahead to BAUHAUS-galan 2027.
BAUHAUS-galan 2026 was an extraordinary evening. The crowd witnessed world-class performances, records, major international stars and outstanding Swedish performances in the historic setting of Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
Switzerland’s Audrey Werro delivered one of the highlights of the night when she sensationally outsprinted superstar Keely Hodgkinson in the 800 metres, winning in 1:53.98 – the third-fastest time in history and just a few tenths of a second away from the seemingly “impossible” world record.
Marwa Bouzayani made history by becoming the first woman to run the 3000 metres steeplechase in under nine minutes at the Stadium. Jessica Schilder set a new stadium record in the shot put, while global sprint stars including Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Kenny Bednarek delivered world-class performances on the track.
And in front of the home crowd, Daniel Ståhl claimed a long-awaited victory in the discus – his first win on home soil in five years.
Now, the journey towards the next record-breaking night begins.
On 6 June 2027, Stockholm Olympic Stadium will once again welcome the world’s best athletes, Sweden’s biggest stars, thrilling competition and world-class athletics.
