BAUHAUS-galan – one of the best athletics meetings in the world

The meet is held at the historical Stockholm Olympic Stadium and is a leading track and field meeting and the largest annual sporting event in Sweden.

BAUHAUS-galan offers a unique blend of traditional athletics in a small historic arena and a futuristic sports show with a mix of music, sound effects and the latest technology. The result is an atmosphere which has made the meet well known and highly respected all over the world. 83 world records have been set here since 1912 – far more than at any other arena in the world.
One of the highlights at BAUHAUS-galan 2017 was Andre De Grasse's 9.69 at 100 meters, although in a tail wind of 4.8 m/s. Another great competition was mens discus with two guys beyond 68 meters – Jamaica's Fedric Dacres (68.36) and Sweden's Daniel Ståhl (68.13).
On 10 June 2018 we are looking forward to another world class gala at Stockholm Olympic Stadium!
