New Track Installed at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium Raises the One-Day Meeting
The City of Stockholm has installed a new track at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium. The new track was installed during the last summer. The track is the Conica’s top performing track CONIPUR Vmax. The stadium in Stockholm is ready for new records at BAUHAUS-galan 2 July.

It is now clear that the first duel of the year between Barshim and Tamberi will take place at Stockholm's stadium on July 2. The crowd favorite Tamberi who can set any arena on fire will face the giant in the discipline, the three-time world champion (last three WCs) Barshim.

Thrilling javelin duel between Peters and Chopra and Ceh triumphes in epic discus battle with Alekna
In a thrilling javelin competition, world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada came out on top in a fierce battle with Olympic champion, Neeraj Chopra. European under23 champion, Kristjan Ceh of Slovakia launched the discus to a fine 70.02m meeting record mark in the fifth round to overcome long-time leader, Mykolas Alekna of Lithuania - who registered a 69.81m national record.
Wanda Diamond League returns to Stockholm for 13th consecutive year
The Wanda Diamond League is back in Stockholm as the Swedish city hosts the eighth leg of the 2022 season. As usual, it will take place at the historic Stockholm Olympic Stadium, which was originally used for the Stockholm Olympics in 1912 and is hence celebrating its 110th anniversary.
