Discus och pole vault among the Diamond League disciplines at BAUHAUS-galan the 4th of July at Stockholms Stadion
Discus throw has been thrown back in to the Diamond League cirkus just as the other disciplines that was removed before the season of 2020. Disciplines for BAUHAUS-galan 2021 will involve Diamond League disciplines for most of the top swedish athletes, among them pole vault and discus throw for men and long jump and shot put for women. Further, two "new-old" disciplines will be a part of BAUHAUS-galan, 100m men and 3 000mH women. BAUHAUS-galan has the opportunity to add disciplines to the program.

Echevarría is ready for BAUHAUS-galan after his 8,83 last year
Four stadium records were set at last year’s BAUHAUS-galan but the leading performance was Juan Miguel Echevarría’s fantastic 8.83m in the long jump, which was only twelve centimetres from the 27 year-old world record. On 30 May, he is back at Stockholm Olympic Stadium where the line-up also includes reigning Olympic, World and European Champions plus Sweden’s indoor European silver medallist, Thobias Montler. Fantastic high jump field at BAUHAUS-galan on 30 May
On Friday in Doha Erika Kinsey finished second in the high jump at the first Diamond League meeting of the season – her best ever position at this level of competition. At BAUHAUS-galan on 30 May she will face the six best ranked women in the world, including the number one, the dominant World and European Champion, Mariya Lasitskene.
