Täby IS, one of the clubs that are organising DN Galan!

The Stadium Clubs are 12 of the best athletic clubs in the Stockholm region and they are organising DN Galan. In the beginning of the year we spoke to one of the clubs representatives, Marianne Schmidt from Täby IS. She informed us about her club.

– We are a large and widespread club that have a special focus at younger athletes. Today there are around 900 members and 75 coaches.

Marianne is very enthusiastic about the fact that DN Galan now is a member of the Samsung Diamond League.

– I think it´s wonderful that Stockholm and Sweden is a part of the Samsung Diamond League.

DN Galan Youth is something that the official from Täby IS really appreciate.

– I think it is a high quality competition for youth athletes with a structure of a professional top level event. It is profitable for the young athletes to get to know how it is to compete at a high level athletic meeting. DN Galan Youth is a very important part of athletics in the Stockholm region.

DN Galan is a very positive event for Marianne.

– It is a nice event to experience as a fan but also to work with. The atmosphere is very special and contributes a lot to the total experience of the trademark.
