Yelena Isinbayeva will compete at DN Galan!

The Russian megastar Yelena Isinbayeva is back on track. For years the athletic icon has charmed the world, not only, with her personality but with numerous championships, world records and a graceful appearance. We are pleased to confirm Yelena Isinbayeva at this year DN Galan Samsung League on July 29th.

-"Yelena is a magnificent athlete and it’s a pleasure to welcome her back to DN Galan and Stockholm Olympic Stadium, says Meeting Director Rajne Söderberg. She is the keeper of the Stadium record at 4.85, set back in 2008".

After her voluntary break from competition the Russian is back and at last Saturdays event in Heusden, Belgium she claimed the victory on a solid 4.60, despite tough weather conditions. The return to DN Galan will also bring tough competition from the indoor world champion Fabiana Murer, Brazil, world leader Martina Strutz, Germany and Sweden’s Angelica Bengtsson.
