The stadium was built in 1910–1912 for the 1912 Olympic Games and is the world’s oldest active Olympic arena. Stockholm Olympic stadium still holds the “world record of world records” in athletics with 83. This makes it the “all-star” arena of the athletics world – and a place where the world’s best athletes still meet during BAUHAUS-galan, part of Wanda Diamond League.
