
Five-meter Jumper aim high when BAUHAUS-galan and Wanda Diamond League visit the Square at Täby Centrum
Some of the world’s best pole vaulters have given the go for the “City Event” that BAUHAUS- galan and Diamond League are arranging at Westfield Täby Centrum on June 14.
The most accomplished jumper who has given the go is the american Sandi Morris, who has a personal record of 5.00 meters. She has won one Olympic silver, three World Championship silver, two Indoor World Championship gold and holds the Stadium Record (Stockholm Olympic Stadium), 4.86 meters.
She is looking forward competing in front of the Swedish audience in a spectacular city arena, where the audience gets close to the athletes in a unique atmosphere.
“I have good memories of Stockholm where I set the current stadium record a few years ago. Now I want to have another record in Stockholm”, says Sandi Morris.

Nina Kennedy initially accepted the competition in Täby but has had to withdraw due to a hamstring injury.
The Diamond League competition in Täby is part of BAUHAUS-galan which is otherwise arranged at Stockholm Olympic Stadium on June 15.
