American Anna Hall moved up to joint second all-time with Carolina Klüft after reaching 7,032 points in the heptathlon in Götzis last weekend. Now she is ready for BAUHAUS-galan – in the 400 meter hurdles.
Two-time World Championship medalist Anna Hall achieved the best result in a women’s heptathlon in the world in 18 years at the prestigious competition in Götzis, Austria last weekend when she reached 7,032 points – after a personal record in four disciplines.
This meant that she moved up to joint second all-time together with Carolina Klüft, who reached the same score in 2007 – that is, 18 years ago. Up to Jackie Joyner-Kersee’s world record, there are 259 points left.
Now Hall is ready for her first BAUHAUS-gala – in the “wrong” discipline. She will compete in the 400-meter hurdles, where she also maintains a high international level. The time is 54.42.
She will face extremely tough competition there. Diamond League queen Femke Bol has already been ready to start at the Stadium. The Dutch star has been undefeated in the 400-meter hurdles since 2021 and has won four consecutive overall victories in the Diamond League.
